Wiggling Wombats grew from a bunch of young mothers and pregnant girls who were meeting at Fusion’s Cafe in Penrith.
Gradually a team of helpers gathered and Wiggling Wombats was born; a structured playgroup where young parents and their children benefit from creative activities and support and learn parenting, health and life skills, as well as build trusting relationships.
Seven years on there are 4 Wiggling Wombats playgroups in Western Sydney.
Our voluntary helpers bring light to the lives of single, isolated and disadvantaged young parents and children.
