Youth Arts

Creativity can be expressed in heaps of ways. Fusion help young people develop this fundamental human characteristic. We are always looking for new ways to do this.

Create Academy

The Create Academy is the overarching body that coordinates all the creative programs and activities of Fusion Western Sydney.

Drumbeat

DRUMBEAT was developed as a means to engage young Aboriginal men. It is now taught to young people in schools, drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities, child protection facilities, mental health services, children’s hospitals, refugee associations and prisons.

Youth & Community Centre

Our Youth & Community Centres are situated in St Marys and Cranebrook. We plan to establish more in areas like Parramatta, Campbelltown and Blacktown.

Industry & Literacy

The “Fusion Industries Program” (through the process of mentoring and development of life skills) includes gardening, carpentry, administration and many more opportunities.

Schools Work

Fusion provide a range of services and support both inside and outside the school gate. We work in partnership with schools administration, staff, students and families.

School Holiday Activities

Every school holidays the youth team at Fusion Western Sydney run a range of activities like trips to the beach and amusement parks, camps and more.

Fusion Daytrips

This is an opportunity for young people to get out of their normal routines and try something new and challenging. Things like abseiling, bush walks, beach trips and other activities are all part of the day. Each Daytrip ends with live music and a reflection time.

Outreach

Although Fusion Western Sydney have some fantastic facilities we work hard to not be restricted to them. In parks, shopping centres and outdoor malls you will find our team running creative and fun activities for people of all ages to get involved in.

Pilgrimage to Uluru

An Australian “Schools in Harmony” program which begins on Easter Sunday and lasts 14 days. It takes young people on a journey of reflection to their nation’s heart. The Pilgrims participate in reflection, discussion and creative activity as they journey to Uluru.

Youth Festivals

Right in the heart of communities the Fusion team gather and train local people to run Open Crowd© Youth Festivals. Heaps of games and activities as well as our famous FREE BBQ’s are all designed to bring Young People and their communities together.

Green Light Project

What is the Green Light Project (GLP)?
The GLP is a series of intensive workshops in creative streams such as: dance, music, drama and other disciplines – conducted over 3 days (including a showcase/concert night on the third night).
